What is a Family Assistance Center?

Family Assistance Centers (FACs) are designed to assist the families of military service members during peacetime and during training or mobilization. A FAC is open to all branches of the military (Air Guard, Army Guard, Active Duty Army, Air Force, Coast Guard, Marines, Navy and all Reserve Components).
A Family Assistance Center provides a "one-stop shopping” & resource to help family members cope with any issue they encounter as a military dependant.

Who is eligible to receive services through a FAC?

All military members, veterans, and their families are eligible to receive assistance. No military personnel or his/her family will be turned away from a FAC regardless of branch affiliation.

What services are provided by an FAC?
Basic services provided by a FAC are:

· ID Cards/DEERS
· Crises Intervention
· TRICARE/TRICARE Dental
· Financial Assistance
·Legal Assistance
·Information, Referral, Follow-Up and Outreach
