The Joint Public Affairs Office of the Tennessee Military Department is located at the Houston Barracks National Guard Complex in Nashville.  The role of the Joint Public Affairs  Office is to provide soldiers and the citizens of Tennessee with news information related to the Tennessee Air and Army National Guard and the Tennessee Emergency Management Agency.  Timely news information is provided to traditional media outlets.  News is provided to soldiers of the Tennessee Army National Guard through the VolstateGuard and on the Internet at https://tn.ngb.army.mil/tnmilitary.

The Joint Public Affairs  Office is the approval authority for all web based content that is accessible to the public that is included within the Tennessee National Guard web site in accordance with DoD 5400.7-R.  All media inquiries should be directed to the Director, Joint Public Affairs Office.
