We appreciate the outpouring of good wishes and support of our Soldiers and
Airmen deployed away from home. Although programs such as letters to "Any Soldier" and "Dear Abby" have been discontinued because of security concerns, there are
ways you can support our troops protecting your freedom.
If you would like to show your support to members of the Tennessee National Guard
who are
currently deployed, please visit any of the below links to donate money, your time, or any items to those
servicemembers currently serving overseas. The Tennessee National Guard does not endorse these sites,
however, those serving truly value and appriciate your support.
If you know of any other ways to help support the troops that are not listed here,
please let us know so we can add them.
Thank you!

A Soldier's Child Birthday Foundation
There are many children who will never receive another birthday gift from their father or mother because they gave their life while defending our freedoms. Likewise the fallen Soldier will never be able to give their child a surprise birthday party, a bicycle for their son, a necklace for their daughter, or financial assistance for their child’s first car or pursuit of higher education. It is the objective to communicate through A Soldiers Child to the children left behind that the memory of their parent will not fade away. There are many Americans that are forever grateful for their parent's sacrifice. A Soldier's Child is a not-for-profit, 501(c)3 organization. All gifts are tax deductible. For more information about making an investment in A Soldier's Child, contact Executive Director Daryl Mackin at (615) 427-2970 or via email
